The quarry itself was established pre-war and production in its current form spans the last seven years, with the current management team having experience dating back 31 years. After significant investment since 2018 in state-of-the-art technology and machinery we have ensured the quality of cut and finish. The investment has also allowed us to increase production and offer a wider variety of products. Our products are widely sold throughout the UK and used on some of the most exacting sites.
Within the quarry we have plentiful supplies of high quality Yorkshire and Ashlar stone for the foreseeable future. Operating from only one site, which provides all the materials/products we offer, means that we can ensure we provide customers with the best quality stone along with keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum. At Hawksworth Quarry we are constantly working to be as environmentally friendly as possible and over the last 5 years we have planted over 20,000 trees around the quarry.
